FKG were engaged to construct a new general learning center at Yarrabilba State School. The design had some custom design perforated metal screens which required a metalwork partner with the capability to custom design screens and install them with a high level of technical skill. FKG selected AMS to be that partner.
The metalwork package also contained a number of Powdercoated sunblades, perforated screens and aluminum battens.
AMS worked in conjunction with FKG to get everything installed accommodating the operation of the school and delivering on time as contracted.
As part of the overall design of the project, the Department of Education had engaged an indigenous artist to design a feature artwork for the perimeter fencing surrounding the front of the school. The culturally designed perforated screens add a unique and visually appealing element to the school design, setting it apart from other jobs and something we are really proud of delivering.
